What if your birthday is on a cusp?
The cusp days are the first and last day of each sign. If you were born on one of them, check two things before you decide which sign you are. The first is the year, because the Sun changes sign at a different hour every year. The second is your birth time and place, because the switch happens at a precise moment and your local clock decides which side of it you landed on.

Aries runs March 21 to April 19, Taurus April 20 to May 20, Gemini May 21 to June 20, Cancer June 21 to July 22, Leo July 23 to August 22, Virgo August 23 to September 22, Libra September 23 to October 22, Scorpio October 23 to November 21, Sagittarius November 22 to December 21, Capricorn December 22 to January 19, Aquarius January 20 to February 18 and Pisces February 19 to March 20.
Why do some sites give slightly different dates?
The Sun enters a new sign at a different hour each year, so the switch can land on the day before or after the usual date. A few sources also round differently. If you were born within a day or two of a boundary, your exact birth time and place decide your sign.
What is a cusp in astrology?
A cusp is a birthday close to the line between two signs. People born on a cusp often say they relate to both signs. Astrologers still assign one sun sign, based on where the Sun really was at birth.
Did the zodiac dates change?
